On November 29, CIRANO held a meeting to discuss issues relating to human resource management. The aim of this meeting was to bring together Quebec businesses facing HR challenges with CIRANO researchers specializing in the economics of human resources to discuss a variety of themes, including hiring, attracting talent, employee retention, promotions, work commitment and incentives, absenteeism, and 360 performance evaluations.

During this first meeting, Charles Bellemare, Principal Investigator of DEPPI, has presented the different dimensions and objectives of the project to heads of Human Resource of Hydro Quebec, Metro, City of Montréal, Intact Insurance, Power Corporation, Quebec Caisse de dépôt et placement Intact Insurance and National Bank.
