Charles Bellemare to discuss workplace integration difficulties for people with disabilities

Charles Bellemare, Principal Investigator for DEPPI, will discuss on November 13th 2018 workplace integration difficulties for people with disabilities as part of the lunch-hour conferences series for clinicians at the Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre. He will present the paper “Physical Disability and Labor Market Discrimination : Evidence from a Field Experiment” that he co-authored with Marion Goussé, Guy Lacroix and Steeve Marchand.

This new opportunity to share and promote the work of DEPPI comes following the Scientific Day and Annual Meetings REPAR-INTER 2018 in collaboration with CIRRIS and CRIR, during which Charles Bellemare presented the findings from a study into discrimination in hiring people with disabilities.

The Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre provides specialized and superspecialized rehabilitation services to adults with motor disabilities or speech and language impediments. Their services are focus on the social integration of their clients.
