Marie-Pierre Rancourt presents her research project at 2020 Applied Economics Day

Date de parution

The goal of Applied Economics Day is to promote the Economic Department’s activities and career opportunities. The event is presented each year by the Association des Étudiants en Économique des Cycles Supérieurs à l’Université Laval (AÉÉCSUL) (Postgraduate Economics Students Association of Laval University), the CRREP and CREATE research centres, in collaboration with the Quebec City region of the Association des économistes québécois (ASDEQ) (Quebec Association of Professional Economists).

On this occasion, Master’s degree students of the Economics Department will introduce their academic research results.

Marie-Pierre Rancourt, a DEPPI’s student, will present her research project entitled “L’effet des programmes d’aide à l’emploi sur la participation à l’aide sociale des individus ayant des incapacités” (The impact of employment assistance programs on the social assistance participation of people with disabilities). Guy Lacroix and Luc Bissonnette, two DEPPI’s researchers, are her master’s directors.
