Marion Goussé presents DEPPI’s work in Paris

Date de parution

The Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) at Sciences Po in Paris, invited DEPPI to present their work at a seminar on Disability and Labor Market Discrimination, organized under the Discrimination and Social Inequalities Research Group. The seminar took place on May 2, 2018, in Paris.

Marion Goussé, a DEPPI researcher, presented the results of a study looking at hiring discrimination against people with physical disabilities. The study, by Charles Bellemare, Marion Goussé, Guy Lacroix and Steeve Marchand demonstrates that mentioning a physical disability on a job application reduces by half the chance of being called for an interview.

This interdisciplinary seminar gave Ms. Goussé the opportunity to meet law and sociology researchers who are also working for the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.
