Access to the labour market for people with disabilities still represents one of their major challenges.
According to Statistics Canada (2011), employment rate of people aged 15 to 64 living with disabilities was 39% compared with 72% for people without disabilities. This is not just a Canadian issue, lower employment rates for people with disabilities is observed in most countries (WHO, 2011) Therefore, there is clearly a problem regarding the employment of these people.
Results of this study were presented at the Scientific Day and Annual Meetings REPAR-INTER 2018 and at the Days for Health Research 2018.
